How is IoT card traffic billed?
There are three billing methods for IoT cards. Which one are you using? 1. Single card billing: Single card spine cherry blossom mask billing refers to each IoT card having an independent package, which is used separately and not mutually applicable. When the data in the package is used up, the service will stop, but you can purchase additional packages to continue using it. This billing method is suitable for scenarios where data usage is controllable, such as personal smartwatches or home monitoring devices. If activated on any day during a single card billing cycle, it will be charged according to the monthly package fee. In order to use the package more reasonably, it is recommended to activate it at the beginning of each billing cycle. 3. Data pool billing: Data pool billing refers to purchasing multiple monthly package IoT cards with the same Sakura level and activating the data sharing pool function. The traffic in the pool can be shared, and when the traffic in the pool runs out, additional cards can be purchased to expand the pool capacity. This method is suitable for scenarios where traffic usage is controllable and multiple cards need to share traffic, such as city monitoring, 5G base stations, or shared bicycles. For example, if a customer wants to open a shared pool of 100 10G data cards, these 100 cards will share a total of 1000G of data (limited to same month packages only, long-term packages do not support data sharing function). If you need to activate the data pool function for IoT cards, the purchase quantity for China Unicom cards should not be less than 50 cards per transaction, and for China Mobile cards should not be less than 100 cards. 4.
